Congolese from North Kivu in the Rutshuru territory, she is married, mother of 5 children. Specialist in medical laboratory and expert in public health, She worked as technical head of provincial laboratory in North Kivu in Goma in the Democratic Republic of Congo for 9 years.

She was a teaching assistant at the Higher Institute of Medical Techniques in Goma; and is currently a laboratory assistant at the medical center of the General Directorate of Customs and Excise in North Kivu. Activist for the cause of women as well as for the protection of the environment, Chantal has been part of many organizations including:

• an association called, Ensemble pour la biodivercité et le développement (E.B.D) in acronym; - Association for the transformation and marketing of agricultural products (A.TRA.CO.P) in acronym;
• Organization of women executives of the Higher Institute of Medical Techniques for the supervision of female students (O.F.C.I.E.E), in acronym
• Association for the Promotion of the Life of the Peasant (A.PRO.VI.P), in acronym. Chantal is currently president of Mafubo EST-RDC, she believes that development built around women is the only valid tool to fight extreme poverty.
