Mariam Cissé
President of Mafubo Mali
Mariam CISSÉ is a Malian architect, co-founder of a property development company.
She is currently developing a bioclimatic housing project, an autumn city entirely built with terracotta bricks from biogas. Its ambition is to facilitate access to decent, sustainable and low-cost housing for ordinary citizens by prioritizing low-income women.
She is committed to the cause of women and girls and an active member of several associative movements including: JCI Mali, of the National Youth Network of Mali where she is the coordinator of her commune, of Open Mail where she initiated the YOUNG ACTIVE GIRL project which aims to educate young girls on the use of social networks and to make promotion of young female entrepreneurs to cite them as an example.
She joined the Mafubo network to be able to exchange with women and girls from other countries who are concerned about the precarious situation in which many women live, but above all to join forces with those who want to be real agents of change to eradicate extreme poverty.
